What is the recommended charging method?

To ensure that your devices get a proper charge in the quickest possible time, we recommend using a “Fast charge ” USB wall charger with an output of 5 volts at 1.0-2.1 amps (up to 10-11w).

The following Fly devices are “Fast charge” compatible accepting up to 2.1 amps.

  • Fly6 GEN 3
  • Fly12 CE
  • Fly6 CE

Legacy Fly devices accept up to 5 volts at 1-2 amps (up to 10w).

Most mobile phone chargers have similar specifications. Check the labeling on the side of your USB wall charger to confirm the charging specifications.
